HANGZHOU, Oct. 6 (Xinhua) -- Uzbekistan dominated four rotations to claim the team gold medal in rhythmic gymnastics at the Hangzhou Asian Games here on Friday.

Uzbekistan finished on 324.800 points, well ahead of Kazakhstan with 317.100, while the bronze medal went to China with 313.400.

With a perfect executed routine, Uzbekistan's Evelina Atalyants finished with an unparalleled 34.850 points in the hoop to build the lead. Atalyants continued her momentum to get 33.400 in the ball. Takhmina Ikromova impressed with 33.100 in the clubs. All three Uzbeks finished with over 30 points in the ribbon.

"We tried to get together as a team and support each other. Even if something didn't work out for someone, I tried to say that everything is fine. 'Do not think about it, just go out and perform well'," Ikromova said.

China's Wang Zilu scored over 32 points in the hoop, ball and clubs, but scored only 28.800 in the ribbon.

"On the whole, everyone in our team has done their best. We also tried to make every routine as successful as possible, but my last routine with the ribbon was still slightly unsatisfactory," Wang said.
