U.S. dollar ticks down

NEW YORK, Nov. 16 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar fell in late trading on Thursday.

The dollar index, which measures the greenback against six major peers, dropped 0.04 percent to 104.348 at 3:00 p.m. (2000 GMT).
