U.S. stocks close mixed

NEW YORK, Nov. 16 (Xinhua) -- U.S. stocks ended mixed on Thursday.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell by 45.74 points, or 0.13 percent, to 34,945.47. The S&P 500 added 5.36 points, or 0.12 percent, to 4,508.24. The Nasdaq Composite Index increased by 9.84 points, or 0.07 percent, to 14,113.67.
