U.S. dollar ticks up

NEW YORK, Dec. 4 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar advanced in late trading on Monday.

The dollar index, which measures the greenback against six major peers, went up 0.43 percent to 103.712 at 3:00 p.m. (2000 GMT).
