KIEV, Jan. 10 (Xinhua) -- Ukraine's gross domestic product (GDP) is likely to grow by 3.2 percent this year, the government-run Ukrinform news agency reported Wednesday, citing the latest forecast by the World Bank.
In 2025, the Ukrainian economy is expected to rise by 6.5 percent, the World Bank said.
At the same time, the bank warned that geopolitical risks, including a possible escalation of the Russia-Ukraine conflict, may worsen the economic situation in the country.
The World Bank estimated that Ukraine's GDP increased by 4.8 percent in 2023.
According to preliminary figures unveiled by Ukraine's Economy Ministry, the country's GDP expanded 5.5 percent year on year in January-November 2023.
The Ukrainian government has not unveiled the full-year figure for 2023 GDP growth.
