Crude futures settle higher

NEW YORK, April 12 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices advanced on Friday.

The West Texas Intermediate for May delivery added 64 cents, or 0.75 percent, to settle at 85.66 U.S. dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for June delivery increased by 71 cents, or 0.79 percent, to settle at 90.45 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
