Crude futures settle higher

NEW YORK, July 10 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices advanced on Wednesday.

The West Texas Intermediate for August delivery added 69 cents, or 0.85 percent, to settle at 82.1 U.S. dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for September delivery gained 42 cents, or 0.5 percent, to settle at 85.08 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
