Crude futures settle mixed

NEW YORK, July 18 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices settled mixed on Thursday.

The West Texas Intermediate for August delivery lost 3 cents, or 0.04 percent, to settle at 82.82 U.S. dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for September delivery increased by 3 cents, or 0.04 percent, to settle at 85.11 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
