WTI crude futures settle higher

NEW YORK, July 25 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices advanced on Thursday.

The West Texas Intermediate (WTI) for September delivery went up 69 cents, or 0.89 percent, to settle at 78.28 U.S. dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.

Brent crude for September delivery gained 66 cents, or 0.81 percent, to settle at 82.37 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
