Crude futures settle lower

NEW YORK, July 26 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices fell on Friday.

The West Texas Intermediate for September delivery decreased by 1.12 U.S. dollars, or 1.43 percent, to settle at 77.16 dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for September delivery dropped 1.24 dollars, or 1.51 percent, to settle at 81.13 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
