Urgent: Noah Lyles wins Olympic men's 100m gold medal in photo finish

PARIS, Aug. 4 (Xinhua) -- Noah Lyles of the United States won the men's 100m gold medal at the Paris Olympics on Sunday, pipping Jamaica's Kishane Thompson in a photo finish.

Lyles and Thompson both clocked 9.79 seconds in the final.

Fred Kerley of the United States took the bronze medal in 9.81 seconds.
