MEXICO CITY (Reuters) - The Mexican government said on Monday that it had submitted a request allowing Ecuador's jailed former Vice President Jorge Glas to be able to go to a third country.

Mexico broke relations with Ecuador in April after Ecuadorean authorities forcefully entered Mexico's embassy in the country to arrest Glas, to whom Mexico had granted asylum.
