PARIS, Aug. 11 (Xinhua) -- As the Paris 2024 Olympic Games concluded on Sunday, here are some figures and facts about this big event.

30% - The Olympic Village was constructed with 30 percent less carbon compared to a regular French construction.

50% - 28 out of 32 sports reached full gender equality. Women accounted for 50 percent of the 45,000 volunteers.

4 - Four NOCs won their first Olympic Games gold medal, including Botswana, Dominica, Guatemala and Saint Lucia.

9.5 - Over 9.5 out of 10 million tickets have been sold.

18 - 5,084 medals have been produced, using 18 grammes of iron from the Eiffel Tower.

30 - 30 minutes of daily physical activity at primary schools adopted as a national policy of France and introduced in all 36,800 French primary schools.

32 - 32 world records broken in 8 disciplines.

91 - 91 NOCs and the IOC Refugee Olympic Team won medals.

30,000 - Through hosting the Olympic Games, 30,000 people in France have been trained in new skills for future careers, enhancing their ability and career prospects.

48,000 - More than 48,000 Olympic enthusiasts took part in the first-ever mass-participation event organized at the Olympic Games, the Marathon Pour Tous, on August 10.

280,000 - 280,000 people experienced the celebration space of the Champions Park at the Eiffel Tower, cheering for 600 medalists from around the world.

743,000 - On July 30, around 743,000 spectators attended Paris 2024 events.

1,000,000 - Nearly one million people came out into the streets to watch the two Olympic road cycling races on August 3 and 4.

3,200,000 - Over 32 million new followers joined Olympics social media during Paris 2024, more than tripling the growth seen during Tokyo 2020.
