WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said in a court filing that he will endorse Republican Donald Trump for president, the Associated Press reported ahead of planned remarks by the independent candidate set for later on Friday.

Kennedy made the statement in a Pennsylvania court filing that also asked to remove him from the state's ballot, according to the AP. On Thursday, Arizona officials said Kennedy filed paperwork to remove himself from the presidential ballot there.
