US officials met Libyan National Army Commander Haftar in Benghazi, US embassy in Libya says

(Reuters) - U.S. Africa Command General Michael Langley and Chargé d'affaires Jeremy Berndt met Libyan National Army Commander Khalifa Haftar, the U.S Embassy in Libya said on social media platform X on Tuesday.

The U.S. urges all Libyan stakeholders to engage constructively in dialogue, with support from United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMI) and the international community, the message said.
