Crude futures settle lower

NEW YORK, Sept. 13 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices inched down on Friday.

The West Texas Intermediate for October delivery dropped 32 cents, or 0.46 percent, to settle at 68.65 U.S. dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for November delivery lost 36 cents, or 0.5 percent, to settle at 71.61 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
