1st LD: 2 injured in Paris fire: media

PARIS, Sept. 17 (Xinhua) -- A fire broke out in Paris's 13th arrondissement on Tuesday afternoon, leaving two persons injured, local media reported.

The fire broke out around 5 p.m. local time (1500 GMT) on a rooftop which was under renovation, according to the French news channel BFMTV.

Two gas bottles exploded due to the fire, BFMTV reported, adding that the workers who were working there, along with residents, were evacuated in time.

Firefighters are working to extinguish the flames. A firefighter and a worker were injured, BFMTV said without giving further details.
