Crude futures settle lower

NEW YORK, Sept. 20 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices inched down on Friday.

The West Texas Intermediate for October delivery lost 3 cents, or 0.04 percent, to settle at 71.92 U.S. dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for November delivery decreased 39 cents, or 0.52 percent, to settle at 74.49 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
