Crude futures settle lower

NEW YORK, Sept. 23 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices fell on Monday.

The West Texas Intermediate for November delivery dropped 63 cents, or 0.89 percent, to settle at 70.37 U.S. dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for November delivery decreased 59 cents, or 0.79 percent, to settle at 73.9 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
