Magnitude 5.5 earthquake strikes off coast of Antofagasta in Chile, EMSC says

(Reuters) - An earthquake measuring 5.5 magnitude struck off the coast of Antofagasta in Chile on Tuesday, the European Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) said.

The quake was at a depth of 51 kilometres (31.69 miles), EMSC said. EMSC earlier pegged the earthquake at 6.1 magnitude.
