Crude futures settle lower

NEW YORK, Sept. 25 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices fell on Wednesday.

The West Texas Intermediate for November delivery decreased 1.87 U.S. dollars, or 2.61 percent, to settle at 69.69 dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for November delivery lost 1.71 dollars, or 2.27 percent, to settle at 73.46 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
