Crude futures settle lower

NEW YORK, Sept. 30 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices dipped on Monday.

The West Texas Intermediate for November delivery lost 1 cent, or 0.01 percent, to settle at 68.17 U.S. dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for November delivery dropped 21 cents, or 0.29 percent, to settle at 71.77 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
