Crude futures settle lower

NEW YORK, Oct. 11 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices dipped on Friday.

The West Texas Intermediate for November delivery decreased 28 cents, or 0.38 percent, to settle at 75.56 U.S. dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for December delivery dropped 36 cents, or 0.45 percent, to settle at 79.04 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
