SARAJEVO, Oct. 15 (Xinhua) -- A collective funeral was held on Tuesday in Jablanica, central Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), for 19 victims of the recent devastating floods and landslides that struck the region.

The victims were laid to rest in local cemeteries. Husein Kavazovic, the head of the Islamic Community in BiH, led the prayer service. Many citizens from across the country gathered to pay their respects.

At least 26 people have died in the central regions of BiH, with Jablanica, Konjic, and Fojnica being the hardest hit by the floods caused by days of heavy rainfall. A search operation continues in Konjic, where four people have been confirmed dead and one remains missing.
