Crude futures settle lower


NEW YORK, Oct. 18 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices fell on Friday.

The West Texas Intermediate for November delivery decreased 1.45 U.S. dollars, or 2.05 percent, to settle at 69.22 dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for December delivery lost 1.39 dollars, or 1.87 percent, to settle at 73.06 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
