CNN projects Trump to win Pennsylvania, with 266 electoral votes

PETALING JAYA: CNN has projected former US president Donald Trump to win the key battleground state of Pennsylvania.

This put Trump at 266 electoral votes over Kamala Harris' 188.

With this, Trump just needs another four electoral votes to clinch the 270 to win the race to the White House for the second term.

Trump has already won in the battleground states of North Carolina and Georgia.

The Republicans have also clinched victory in the Senate, winning 51 over Democrats' 42.

In the House of Representatives, Republicans have 186 over Democrats' 160.
