Crude futures settle lower

NEW YORK, Nov. 6 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices dipped on Wednesday.

The West Texas Intermediate for December delivery dropped 30 cents, or 0.42 percent, to settle at 71.69 U.S. dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for January delivery lost 61 cents, or 0.81 percent, to settle at 74.92 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
