WARSAW, Nov. 15 (Xinhua) -- Two major European automotive events opened in Warsaw, Poland on Friday, showcasing the latest advances in vehicles and technology.

The Warsaw Motor Show and Automotive Parts Expo are being held at the PTAK Warsaw Expo Center, and have brought together leading industry players, manufacturers, and innovators.

As one of the largest car exhibitions in Europe, the Warsaw Motor Show is hosting more than 70 exhibitors and has attracted more than 5000 registered visitors. At the exhibition, industry leaders display the latest car models and innovative solutions in the automotive industry.

"We are happy to find new potential clients not only from Poland but all around Europe. We are really interested in the Chinese market. At this year's exhibition, we hosted more than 30 Chinese companies from the automotive industry," said Kazimierz Cwikla, Vice President of PTAK Warsaw Expo.

"Our main goal is to sell Chinese cars to the Polish market because Chinese vehicles are more and more popular here for middle-class Polish society," said Jaroslaw Teske, co-owner of MBM Motors company. "Polish customers are surprised at first when they know that Chinese cars are of good quality, and at the same time, the prices are good."

Poland has an advantageous geographical location and well-developed logistics and warehousing equipment, said Liu Cheng, president of NewTek Automotive (Yantai) Co., Ltd, a first-time exhibitor at the Automotive Parts Exhibition in Warsaw.

"We are here to connect with local customers and through them, we want to expand in the European market, " Liu said.

The two exhibitions will run from Nov. 15 to 17.
