Crude futures settle higher

NEW YORK, Nov. 18 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices climbed on Monday.

The West Texas Intermediate for December delivery increased 2.14 U.S. dollars, or 3.19 percent, to settle at 69.16 dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for January delivery went up 2.26 dollars, or 3.18 percent, to settle at 73.3 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
