Crude futures settle higher

NEW YORK, Nov. 22 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices climbed on Friday.

The West Texas Intermediate for January delivery increased by 1.14 U.S. dollars, or 1.63 percent, to settle at 71.24 dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for January delivery gained 94 cents, or 1.27 percent, to settle at 75.17 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
