NEW DELHI (Reuters) -India's foreign ministry said on Friday that bribery allegations against billionaire Gautam Adani is a legal issue between private firms and the U.S. Department of Justice and that New Delhi has not received any request on this case from Washington.
The comments were the first official reaction from the Indian government to the indictment of Adani, the chair of Indian conglomerate Adani Group and one of the world's richest people, and came more than a week after it was unsealed in New York.
