Gas explosion kills 3 police officers, Egypt interior ministry says

CAIRO (Reuters) - A gas explosion killed three police officers as maintenance work was being performed at Egypt's police academy in Cairo on Sunday night, the country's interior ministry said in a statement on social media.

Two security sources said no foul play was suspected and added that two additional police personnel were injured.
