Two policemen killed in Belarus


MINSK, Jan. 10 (Xinhua) -- Two policemen died in an accident in Belarusian city Vitebsk, the Investigative Committee of Belarus said on Friday.

The committee is conducting an investigation into the death of two district police inspectors on Thursday.

An investigative task force work at the scene. The main version of what happened was careless handling of a firearm, the committee said.

The Chairman of the Investigative Committee Dmitry Gora personally supervises the investigation.
