Belarus ramped up industrial production by 5.4 pct in 2024

MINSK, Jan. 16 (Xinhua) -- Belarus ramped up the volume of its industrial production by 5.4 percent to 202.4 billion rubles in 2024, the country's statistical committee said on Thursday.

Production in mining industry increased by 3.6 percent, and by 5.5 percent in the manufacturing sector.

The industrial production index for December 2024 amounted to 104.3 percent, compared to 104.8 percent in November 2024.
