Crude futures settle lower


NEW YORK, Jan. 29 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices fell on Wednesday.

The West Texas Intermediate for March delivery decreased 1.15 U.S. dollars, or 1.56 percent, to settle at 72.62 dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for March delivery lost 91 cents, or 1.17 percent, to settle at 76.58 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
