Crude futures settle higher


NEW YORK, Jan. 30 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices edged up on Thursday.

The West Texas Intermediate for March delivery added 11 cents, or 0.15 percent, to settle at 72.73 U.S. dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for March delivery gained 28 cents, or 0.38 percent, to settle at 76.87 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
