Crude futures settle lower

NEW YORK, Feb. 6 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices fell on Thursday.

The West Texas Intermediate for March delivery dropped 42 cents, or 0.59 percent, to settle at 70.61 U.S. dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for April delivery decreased 32 cents, or 0.43 percent, to settle at 74.29 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
