Yesterday morning, the news website reported “Shootout drama at sea with Filipino gunmen off Sabah”. At about 9.40pm on Thursday, Malaysian security forces came into direct confrontation with a Filipino Kidnap for Ransom (KFR) group in waters off Semporna on the east coast of Sabah.
