An elderly man wearing a protective facemask running errands on the 3rd day of Movement control order in Puchong, Friday, March 20,2020. RAJA FAISAL HISHAN/The Star.

As I was about to enter an electronics shop at a shopping mall in Petaling Jaya to buy a hair clipper, a security guard told me to wear a face mask.

Annoyed, I wanted to lecture him that the Malaysian government has stated that it was not compulsory and business outlets should not impose such condition on customers.
