I have always said this to my friends – we are extremely blessed to be Malaysians because we have been given the opportunity by Allah to embrace humanity.

Our country exemplifies the very verse in the Quran that speaks of the diversity of ethnicity, colours and languages as an opportunity to learn from one another and not to be suspicious of one another.
