EVERY Monday, all of us at my primary school SK Taman Bukit Maluri in Kuala Lumpur would gather in front of school for our weekly assembly.
It usually began with the singing of our national anthem Negaraku, accompanied by the raising of the Jalur Gemilang and thereafter the school song and simultaneous raising of the school flag.
