Use Malaysia Day to promote racial unity

As we are in the midst of the Merdeka celebration leading to the commemoration of Malaysia Day on Sept 16, what should be foremost in our mind is national unity – a priceless gift that must be striven for and preserved by all Malaysians in our multi-racial country.

This is the first year that Malaysia Day has been declared a public holiday which is of great significance.
