THAT was inspiring and interesting news, T. Ananda Krishnan, the Malaysian billionaire who’s the second wealthiest person in Southeast Asia, taking time off from his busy schedule to meet his Buddhist monk son Ven Ajahn Siripanyo at a meditation retreat in Penang Hill (The Star, April 24).

I wish more parents would do this for their children who stay away from them. Show them that you are there whenever they need you.
