JUST writing to say thanks to Daphne Lee. Her column (Tots To Teens, Reads) keeps me informed, engaged and going. It provides insight into what prose and pigments (and by extension, pixels) would help my work connect with young(er) readers.
Referring to her thoughts in the June 8 column (“Wasting our talent?”), I couldn’t agree with her more. Writing is hard work and, like a good curry, requires some simmering and hits-and-misses in the process. Not to forget the team effort in publishing a good book.
