I REFER to the letter “Nishikori does Japan and Asia proud” (The Star, Sept 12) and am compelled to write just to get the facts straight.
Japan’s Kosei Kamo and Atsushi Miyagi who won the men’s doubles title at the 1955 US Open are certainly not the only Asian men to win a Grand Slam finals to date.
