ON the weekend the much talked-about movie Kabali was released, I was on a short vacation in Kerala, India. Being a Rajinikanth (Rajini) fan, I didn’t want to miss the movie and wanted my own assessment of it.
It was a typical scene at the cinema in Kochi where the audience brought the roof down, whistling and clapping every time Rajini appeared. Thereafter, every signature gesture of his met with some form of cacophonic reaction from the floor.
