Saluting all left-handers

AUGUST 13 may be just an ordinary day for most people but to 10% of the world’s population who are left-handers, it means something special. It is International Left-Handers Day, a worldwide event to recognise this minority group of people.

In many societies, left-handers are often accused of being “disrespectful” to cultural practices and considered rude especially if they use their left hand when eating, giving and receiving something.
