REFERRING to the report “Plea for BR1M aid for those earning less than RM5000” (The Star, Oct 10), we earnestly appeal to the authorities that they look into two more items for the 2017 budget which would affect the wellbeing of the rakyat.

There is definitely a need to give some financial aid to those earning RM5,000 per month not in terms of individual incomes but household or family incomes.
