Ambulance drivers behaving badly

I COMMUTE over a long distance to work daily. Besides facing reckless drivers, I also come across indisciplined ambulance drivers who abuse their authority by switching on their siren whenever they reach junctions, intersections or roundabouts just to avoid being caught in a jam. Once they are in the clear, they switch off the siren and revert to their normal cruising speed.

Recently, I noticed an ambulance behind me while I was driving on a trunk road. When I reached a junction and slowed down my car, the ambulance driver suddenly switched on his siren and began to tailgate me. After forcing me to let him pass, he had the cheek to honk at me for being slow to give way.
