Congestion at critical level

IN congratulating the new Health Minister, I would like to take the opportunity to highlight a crucial issue faced by most public hospitals. It’s congestion and it is affecting many of the services provided by our public hospitals, particularly the clinics, emergency departments, wards, and ICU.

Over the years, so many changes have been done in our public hospitals in a bid to provide a variety of services to the ever-demanding population. It cannot be denied that service in public hospitals is commendable and for this, a big thank you to the staff of the Health Ministry.
